The Gas Detection Association's objectives are to:
Promote Gas Detection Safety to all Gas users, including industry and individuals.
Establish a governing body to ensure that all members conform to the standards as prescribed.
To work with governmental departments to establish appropriate standards for the Gas Detection Industry.
Establish guidelines and standards for Gas detection Installations.
To establish, present and promote an official Gas Detection Technician qualification.
About Gas Detection
Gas Detectionis the system whereby a Flammable Gas user protects themselves and their assets from the dangers of leaking gas by providing early warning of leaks and automated control of Gas Feeder lines in the absence of manual conytrol.
